Growing to a modest height of 2 to 3 feet, 'Kleim's Hardy' forms a dense, bushy shape with glossy, dark green leaves. It's celebrated for its highly fragrant, star-shaped white flowers that bloom in late spring to early summer, infusing gardens with a sweet scent.
This gardenia variety prefers well-drained, acidic soil and thrives in full sun to partial shade. Regular watering and higher humidity levels help maintain its health, especially during dry periods.
Ideal for small gardens, borders, and container planting, 'Kleim's Hardy' is a low-maintenance choice for adding year-round visual interest and fragrance. To optimize growth and blooming, provide consistent moisture, protect from harsh winter winds, and mulch to maintain soil moisture and temperature.
The plant you receive may not be blooming at the time you receive.
